MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – During his visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Belarus' Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin has met with Pakistan's Defense Secretary Muhammad Ali, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
Viktor Khrenin and Muhammad Ali discussed interaction in the military sector, the supply of heavy-duty dump trucks, and logistics in air traffic.
The Belarusian defense minister noted that Belarus would like to study Pakistan's experience in combating terrorism. In addition, Belarus is interested in exchanging best practices in building and improving the armed forces, military education and personnel training. Viktor Khrenin invited Muhammad Ali to visit Belarus. He noted that no visa is needed for that.
The Pakistani defense secretary signaled his readiness to take part in the work to launch air traffic between the two countries and expressed interest in signing a corresponding agreement.
